Guidelines & Requirements

DEAR RESTAURANT OWNER/MANAGER,

Across the United States, a multitude of cities have benefited from hosting a weeklong Restaurant Week. For restaurants, the benefit is an increase in traffic and new patronage. On behalf of Dearborn Restaurant Week, we invite you to participate in this celebration of local cuisine. Dearborn Restaurant Week 2024 dates will be announced in due time.

The target audience for this event extends beyond Dearborn to Metro Detroit. Participating restaurants will be promoted through our website: dearbornrestaurantweek.com. We will also utilize social media and local news outlets and foodies in order to promote Dearborn Restaurant Week.

What we ask from participating restaurants is simple: offer a prix-fixe menu for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner of $15, $25, and $40 for one or two people. Price points are non-negotiable as we aim to deliver fixed price points from all restaurants for a uniform menu. You do not have to offer the same menu options, just the same price points.

Dearborn Restaurant Week is brought to you by the East and West Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities, as well as supporting sponsors. During COVID, the DDDAs supported local restaurants by promoting a Pick-Up Pledge during the restaurant shutdown restrictions -- reaching over 1.6 million via social media in the Metro Detroit area encouraging consumers to pick-up food orders instead of delivery. We are thrilled to be able to bring back Dearborn Restaurant Week after a two-year post-ponement due to the pandemic.

look forward to hearing from you!

Regards,
Dearborn Restaurant Week Committee
